Pakistan completely bans Indian content.
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has approved a complete ban on airing of Indian content from October 21, said the media watchdog in a statement issued here on Wednesday.
The decision was taken at a meeting presided over by PEMRA Chairman Absar Alam and attended by Interior Secretary Arif Ahmed Khan, Secretary Information Saba Mohsin, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Nasir Muhamamd Khan, Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Dr Ismail Shah, Shaheen Habibullah (Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Nargis Nasir (Member Punjab) and Sarfaraz Khan Jatoi (Member Sindh).
