Gen Raheel reaches Quetta after attack on police academy

QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff general Raheel Sharif has reached Quetta to personally monitor the situation after the militant attack on Balochistan Police Training College, here on Tuesday.

DG ISI Lt. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar and DG MI Maj Gen Nadeem Zaki Manj are also accompanying the COAS.

Heavily-armed militants wearing suicide vests stormed a police academy, killing at least 59 people and wounding dozens more, in one of the deadliest attacks this year.
