ریاض (مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) سعودی عرب میں متعدد شعبوں سے غیرملکیوں کو نکالنے کا عمل یوں تو  ایک عرصے سے جاری تھا لیکن اب ایک اہم شعبے سے وابستہ سینکڑوں غیر ملکیوں کو یوں غیر متوقع انداز میں نکالا گیا ہے کہ سب پریشان ہو کر رہ گئے ہیں۔ سعودی گزٹ کی رپورٹ کے مطابق کنگ سعود یونیورسٹی میں کام کرنے والے 478 غیر ملکی میڈیکل ماہرین ملازمت سے محروم ہو گئے ہیں۔ رپورٹ کے مطابق یونیورسٹی کی جانب سے ان غیر ملکی ملازمین کے معاہدوں کی تجدید کی درخواست کی گئی تھی لیکن وزارت برائے سول سروس کی رپلیسمنٹ ایڈمنسٹریشن نے یہ کہتے ہوئے اجازت دینے سے انکار کردیا ہے کہ ان کی جگہ کام کرنے کے لئے تربیت یافتہ سعودی شہری دستیاب ہیں۔ آسمان میں اچانک ایسی چیز نمودار ہو گئی کہ دبئی اور شارجہ دونوں ائیرپورٹ بند کرنے پڑ گئے  الوطن اخبار نے ذرائع کے حوالے سے بتایا ہے کہ یونیورسٹی کی جانب سے ایسے 516 غیر ملکیوں کی ملازمت کے معاہدوں کی تجدید کی درخواست دی گئی تھی جو مملکت میں 10 سال سے زائد ملازمت کرچکے ہیں۔ رپلیسمنٹ ایڈمنسٹریشن نے اس درخواست کا جائزہ لینے کے بعد 516 میں سے 478 غیر ملکیوں کے معاہدے کی تجدید کی...

Ban children from dangerous religious rituals, says India commission

CHENNAI, India: India´s child protection agency has appealed to parents not to let children take part in religious rituals that could be dangerous, following a teenager´s death after a 68-day fast. The appeal follows public outcry over the death of 13-year-old Aradhana Samdhariya from the minority Jain community in the southern city of Hyderabad. Samdhariya died due to cardiac arrest on Oct. 3, a day after her family held a procession in which she rode on a chariot dressed in bridal finery to celebrate the end of the ritual of surviving only on water. "We are appealing to all communities to ensure that they do not adopt customs and rituals like fasting or self flagellation that will harm their children," Stuti Kacker, chair of the National Commission for the Protection of Child´s Rights, told the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
